Diy Candy Gems

So these are fun to make.  In fact I've made 3 batches since the root batch.  And too therefore easy. Can y'all nation we're into tardily about here? Taking cue from our gingerbread household final December, nosotros simply melted crushed difficult candies inwards some silicone precious rock molds over too over again.  These are fun to brand wrapped upward equally a gift, or exercise similar nosotros did too decorate a cake!  H5N1 fiddling how-to below.

DIY Candy Gems

1 to 2 bags of difficult candies (like Jolly Ranchers)
1 or 2 oven proof silicone precious rock candy molds (like these)
1 cookie sheet

Preheat oven to 350 F. Crush difficult candies (one coloring at a fourth dimension - starting amongst lightest colours first) inwards a blender until broken downward into minor pieces (see below).  Place the crushed candies into the mold until filled to the top.  Place the mold on a cookie canvas too popular inwards the oven for around half dozen minutes (until liquified).  Let cool (5 - x minutes or so) too popular out! Then brand some more! Super easy!
